I haven’t been writing here as often as I would like and it’s not because of lack of interest but rather because of lack of momentum. A frantic professional life has left me with only a superficial relationship with perfume. My latest posts have become more personal and subjective and I gravitate towards older fragrances that I am not sure people will be interested in. Still I continue to try new things so when Fragrance Daily announced that they were looking for new collaborations everything just clicked into place. Not only I have a new group of fumehead friends to share perfume obsessions but I also have a new home were I can share all those perfumes that I have tried recently -or not so recently- and somehow did not fit into Memory of Scent.
For my first post I am writing my impressions from Les Liquides Imaginaires sample kit and their first six releases, Sancti, Fortis, Tumultu, Bello Rabelo, Dom Rosa and Bloody Wood. These are mini reviews on a backdrop of perfume shopping in Munich. Please click here if you would like to read more about these.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Claire. Ana Maria Andreiu, Narada James, NeoXerxes, Lisa Jones, Sterling Nichols III, Raluca Kirschner, Timothy Edward Klus and of course Sjörn for welcoming me and allowing me to express myself once again.
Samples purchased by me.
I don’t think that I like their format: it doesn’t seem like a community similar to other blogs and I rarely care for opinions from people I do not know. But if you choose to write there, I’ll be reading you there 😉
