For the past week or so I have gradually come to live out of a box. I am moving to a new flat and everything is packed in boxes, including six boxes of perfume bottles and a couple of boxes of samples. This is a much needed change after having lived in the same place for 12 years. A place that I have come to call my home, filled with good and bad memories. A new home and new emotions is awaiting.
Packing all my bottles has been really stressful, not only for the obvious reasons. I suddenly had to do with a few samples and a couple of bottles that were left unpacked, Jil Sander Man Pure, and a wonderful decant of Tom Ford Purple Patchouli. The perfume gods however have been tremendously generous and a bottle of Paper Passion came to me as a gift from my SO, as well as a few O’Driu samples and the exquisitely rare O’Driu Splash Dinner performance preparation. I will be writing about these soon. I also received an unexpected set of Puredistance samples so I really cannot complain. I will be back soon, as soon as I have settled and unpacked my perfume bottles.
For the time being I am leaving you with a photo of Toupée who found the perfect opportunity to explore every cupboard and corner of the house that was off limits until now. As always she poses with an excellent sense of composition and lighting.
